I did my student teaching in England, taught sped in MA and NH, taught outdoor ed in NH, did construction work, worked at an apple orchard, worked at a book jobber selecting children's books for libraries all over the country, was a park ranger, did surveying, raised goats, built my own house and barn, was the gardener for Boston Univ.'s organic veg. garden in NH, did shipping and mailroom jobs, and processed dental claims all before getting married. I've been married since 1997. I have one son.
